Garden Infusion
1. In an infusion jar or other tightly sealed jar, add 1 leek, sliced lengthwise, 2 peeled carrots, 2 celery stalks, 4 to 5 red pepper wheels, 1 small cubanelle pepper, whole, 1/2 a sweet onion, sliced in rings, and 2 basil leaves.

2. Add one 1140 mL bottle of vodka and seal the jar.

3. Infuse for one week to 20 days.

4. Use as basis for Garden Caesar (recipe follows)


Garden Caesar
1. Rim a tall glass with celery salt and fill with ice.

2. Add 1 1/2 oz. Infused "Garden Vodka" (see previous recipe); tabasco, Worcestershire sauce, a squeeze of fresh lime and a dollop of horseradish.

3. Top with Clamato and garnish with a celery stalk and lime wedge.
