At a recent ceremony, the Beverage Tasting Institute (www.tastings.com), named this rum as the Best White Rum in the World. BTI's editor-in-chief, Jerald O'Kennard said: 'No other distillery has ever achieved the feat of having all of its entries receive points in the nineties. This must surely be a reflection of DDL's standard of excellence.'


Tasting Note
Clear. Vibrant aromas of toasted meringue, coconut custard, hazelnut cream, and malted milk chocolate toffee follow through on a silky soft entry to a dryish medium body with nice sugar cane, molasses, and honey roasted nut notes. Finishes with a long, grassy, earth sugar cane, mineral, and custard fade. Excellent depth and character that will make very flavorful cocktails. Exceptional. Score - 93.
